Strength and Agility

Samantha Reid, a certified Personal Trainer who is pursuing an Applied Exercise Science degree at the University of New England, is running Odyssey's Sunday afternoon Strength and Agility Sessions. Participants have been praising the quality of her instruction, but the sessions so far have been poorly attended. Players and coaches should come to the next opportunity on February 21 at 4 PM and see what they've been missing! The following paragraph describes the program.
 
The goal of Odyssey’s Speed and Agility program is to create quick, explosive players who will get to the ball faster, change direction quicker, and fly by opposing teams. By working together, having fun and pushing each other to succeed players will increase their speed, first step and lateral movement quickness, reaction time, and core strength. This will help them become better players while decreasing the risk of injury. After warming up, players split into smaller groups and rotate through exercises then finish with a cool down and stretch.
